Scripts must arrive unadorned. Visual aids only damage a piece. Of course.

Most of The Selfish Fish is set today in or around the Hollyhock House, the staggering piece of architecture that Frank Lloyd Wright built with passion at first, then reluctantly, for Aline Barnsdall.

Here you can find our pictures of the place. Legal proceedings befuddle us, so let us assume they are all © The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. It doesn't change what you'll see in them. You may notice that a few of these pictures are not of the Hollyhock House. This is intentional.

The available biography of Barnsdall is very interesting, but leaves the Guardians and the Dancers out, which is a pity.
